The senior community is perhaps the least represented client in architecture today. The needs of aging parents and relatives are becoming a paramount concern for many Americans. Although retired from work, many seniors still maintain the energy and interest to participate in social activities and recreation. SFA Architects designs Senior Living communities that promote healthy living, encourage independence and embrace opportunity. Some features unique to Senior Living are: homes with easily maneuverable floor plans to address declining mobility, highly accessible sidewalk organization to encourage interaction amongst neighbors and recreation centers that develop community. Through insightful design, seniors are able to transition into old age with dignity and vitality.
