SABO FORD
Sabo Ford was a new facility built in order to improve the sales of it three brands, Ford, Lincoln and Mercury, by presenting its customers with a new and modern image. The design, which featured an attractive well-lit entry pylon and an enclosed new car delivery area in the showroom, was based on Ford Motor Land Services design standards. The project eventually became a typical prototype design for dealerships with a planning volume (PV) of 750. The uniqueness of the design is its efficiency. The plan follows a very simple rectangular geometry that allows for a compact layout, while still maximizing the use of space. Ford Motor Land Services continues to refer to and promote this design among dealers.
