NORTH COLLEGE HILL ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

SFA Architects, has been working with the North College Hill School District on numerous renovation and on-going maintenance projects for more than 25 years. Typical projects work included upgrades to classrooms, labs, doors and hardware replacement, flooring, windows, roofs, locker rooms, toilet rooms, exterior facades, and site and parking lots, as well as ADA compliance improvements.

In addition, our office provided countless volunteer hours toward community engagement and Master Planning services and assisted the District in the passage of a bond issue in November 2007. Currently our team is working on the design and construction of a new elementary school, new middle school and a new high school.

North College Hill City Schools is an urban District with academic buildings forming the core of this tight-knit community. As part of the neighborhood revitalization, all facilities have been consolidated within one city block, with the physical education facilities forming the buffer between the elementary, middle, and high schools. Taking the opportunity afforded by new construction, multi-user physical education and practice fields supplement the existing high school stadium and competition gymnasium to tightly connect the school's physical education curriculum to adjacent facilities.
