The expansion consists of a 5-story office building connected via a state of the art and expanded conference center to the original Headquarters. While the building's exterior essentially replicates the original design by PDT Architects, a subsidiary of SFA, the expansion's interior, while referencing the existing, creates a distinctive environment reflecting changes in management philosophy and organizational planning. Essentially an "open-landscape" layout, private offices are limited to executive levels with managers and supervisors re-located to private deluxe system furniture workstations. In addition to traditional conference rooms, huddle rooms suited for diverse functions such as small informal meetings, impromptu private meetings or conversion to private office are centrally located near break rooms on each floor.
