MELINK CORPORATION HEADQUARTERS
Tremendous growth and an innovative, energy-conscientious corporate culture were critical success factors for the Melink Corporation headquarters, located on a five-acre plot of land on River Valley Road in the Gorman Business Park in Clermont County, Ohio. The 30,000-square foot structure was designed as a "campus environment" that consolidates offices, manufacturing, research and development labs, a conference center, testing areas and a number of training rooms around a common courtyard. It was designed and constructed as a "high-performance" building using energy and conservation practices that are at the forefront of the green-building movement. In May 2006, Melink's headquarters was recognized as the first building in Ohio to achieve LEED gold certification from the US Green Building Council, one of only 100 buildings nationally to receive this rating. Awards Received: LEED Gold Award - US Green Building Council 2006 Deal of the Year: - NAIOP |
