IRONTON HALL OHIO UNIVERSITY The Ironton Campus has a rapidly growing enrollment, which has doubled in the last four years. The purpose of this facility was to meet the growing space requirements. The new facility includes classrooms, general meeting rooms, faculty offices, one large gathering area and a full media/library center.. The master plan created additional parking, provided for future campus expansion, and through careful siting, organized two unrelated buildings into a campus for the present. The location of the building creates a courtyard with the Collins Center and another existing building. This central court has raised and lowered garden areas suitable for both large and small outdoor assemblies. The new building visually frames and supports all interior and exterior programs while becoming a new campus symbol seen from the highway. |
