GOOD SAMARITAN HOSPITAL
In light of an increased parking demand and a rapidly deteriorating existing parking garage, PDT Architects a subsidiary of SFA, was engaged to oversee demolition and removal of several outmoded accessory buildings, design a replacement garage, and study the feasibility of additional surgical suites and/or medical offices above the replacement garage.
The resultant studies determined that the best use for the available area was medical office suites and clinical laboratory facilities. PDT designed and provided construction administration services for a 60,000 square foot medical office facility atop a new 800-car parking garage structure. The new medical office facility is connected to the main hospital facility via an enclosed pedestrian walkway.
