TOTAL QUALITY LOGISTICS HEADQUARTERS
Established in 1997 as a third-party logistics source of transportation, TQL has enjoyed dramatic growth in terms of both number of employees and total sales. With sales increasing an average of 50% each year for the past decade, the company has grown from the two founders to employing close to 900 people. This rapid development led to the need for a corporate headquarters with a size that both satisfied the current needs of the company, as well as providing the opportunity for even further staff increases. Additionally, with company recruitment remaining a challenge, a key goal of the design was to provide a highly-usable, distinguishable building that could enhance the recruiting of top-quality employees. The new corporate headquarters includes such features as a 6,000-square foot fitness facility, cafe, lunchroom, employee lounge, seven conference rooms, outdoor basketball courts, and running track. |
